Jive On the Trail
Jive has been leading for me since she was yearling. She was our main leader for many years and still helps train new leaders. She is normally very good at her on-bys. In 2008 she obtained her Working Lead Dog (WLD) title and has done up to 20 miles runs in harness. Her only negative point is that she does pull the team to the left so not the best leader on dirt roads with heavy traffic. Jive will run in single lead, not something all dogs will do.
Even at over 11 years of age, Jive still loves to run in harness and is normally the first to start banging in her harness and screaming to get going again when we stop. She is certainly "Jump n Jive" when in
harness! :) Every year I say I think this will likely be her last year to run and every year she proves me wrong.
