Whisper Tribute
April 6,2011 - June 9, 2018
As we were saying hello to a litter sired by her brother, Rob and Colleen Wolfe were saying good bye to Whisper. Whisper showed no signs of anything wrong prior Friday when she went off her food and by Saturday morning she was gone way to young to liver cancer. We never want to loose our beloved companions but loosing them quickly and unexpectedly is particularly difficult. This is not what I want for any of my puppy people and made even harder as Rob and Colleen lost Whisper's daughter, Vanessa, to Lyme disease just a year ago. My heart goes out to Rob and Colleen.
Whisper was from the Noise litter. The theme came about because the parents of this litter, Weaver and Jose, were known for being "talkative". Colleen and Rob had hoped by giving their name "Whisper" that just maybe she would be more quiet but those talking genes were too strong so her registered name "Hush Little One' was used a lot over her lifetime.
Colleen said that Whisper was a sweet, kind, loving soul, but also very smart. She learned to open a round door knob within seconds to get inside! She also loved her walks and drives in the "yellow truck" in which she and her siblings had become somewhat celebrities around town. Liverpool, where Rob and Colleen live is a tourist sport in Nova Scotia. Colleen thinks there are likely pictures of Whisper and the rest of her family around the world as tourists would often stop Rob and ask for a picture of the crew.

"Poker Legend" Litter
"Simply Red" Litter
