Orion
Orion arrived in Nova Scotia the beginning of Oct. 2006 from Corina and Scott Alexander in New Hampshire and stayed here until Feb of 2007 when he went back to Corina. While here he split his time between Pat and Krista and myself and finished his Canadian Championship. When he lived with Corina and Scott in the US, Orion was pointed towards his US championship, obtained his Am/Can. Novice Obedience, Working Team Dog, Working Pack Dog, Sled Dog, Canine Good Citizen, Temperament Test and Rally Obedience titles. Orion's obedience titles were obtained with 190+ scores and several class placements. He also performed in photo shoots for advertisements with Corina. Orion had a very sweet temperament and loved puppies. He was also a very nice mover and an excellent stud. He was quiet when the girls were in season and knew exactly when they needed to be bred. These are all wonderful traits that he passed onto his son Pippin.

While he was here he produced two litters for us bred to Jive and Ceilidh. Jive's litter turned out to be one of the nicest litters I've produced. All the puppies had just wonderful temperaments. Three obtained their Canadian Championships, Arwen was a group placer and then there was Pippin who became a "Once in a Life Time Dog" for me. A multi BIS winner, Can and US Award of Merit winner at National Specialties, Main Leader on our team, obedience title, incredible Therapy Dog and just an amazing companion. I'm very grateful to Corina for allowing us to have Orion for a while as without him, there would not be Pippin. In short, Orion was a very talented, multi purpose Siberian with an absolutely wonderful temperament, who produced some lovely offspring. What more can you ask for.
