Reba
Margaret moved in next door to me a year before Reba was born. We soon became good friends and she just loved my dogs. When Siri had her first litter of puppies, the spunkiest puppy in the litter had her eyes set on Margaret right from the start and eventually ended up living with Margaret.
Although Reba is in a "pet home" and Margaret and her partner Kevin no longer live next door, Margaret's friendship and help over the years with all aspects of my involvement with dogs has been absolutely invaluable to me. She has helped handle dogs for me in the show ring, with the training of the dogs in harness, and the whelping and rearing of puppies. If I need someone to take care of my furry kids when I'm away for a couple days, Margaret is the first I call upon. We have gone to agility and obedience classes together and in the winter of 2003/2004 Reba along with Margaret and Kevin were all valued members of our team as the dogs worked towards their Working Sleddog titles.
