Special Siberians
Although all my dogs are special to me, the following dogs deserve special mention for their achievements and impact on my breeding program:
Multi BIS Can GChEx. / Am / CFC Ch. Chimini's Peregrin Took WLD, CGN, RA, Am/Can National AOM, Therapy Dog for Children "Pippin"
Jive's son, "Pippin" was the #3 Siberian in Canada in 2012. My first Siberian to make it into the top 5 Standing in Canada. Pippin is also my first, Multi Best In Show winner, Canadian Grand Excellent Champion and National (both Canadian and US) Award of Merit winner. In the US Pippin is also a Best of Breed winner at regular AKC shows. Pippin is also the main lead on our sled team and is a very hard working boy in harness and so far has his Rally Novice title in obedience. Hopefully the future will see him with more obedience titles and for him to become a therapy dog. His great temperament and love of children also make him a wonderful dog for Juniors at the dog shows and a Saint John Ambulance Thereapy Dog for Children at Ronald McDonald House. His children in show homes are still fairly young so we will see what happens there but he has already produced a Group placer from the classes. The high cost of campaigning a dog combine with my move more towards working my dogs in harness means that Pippin will likely to be my last big winner in the dog show ring.

Can. RBIS Can./CFC Elite Ch. Chimini's Shall We Dance WLD,CGN, RE (Therapy Dog) "Jive"
A Reserve Best In Show winner in Canada, my main leader for many years, #2 Siberian in Rally Obedience in Canada in 2014, fantastic Therapy Dog and producer of a multi BIS winner and multi National Specialty AOM winner and another Group placer. Even at 10 years of age Jive is often the first one to start banging in her harness and screaming to get going again whenever we stop. She was a fantastic mother and after she was spayed continues to be a fantastic "Auntie" to all my litters. She also passed on her fantastic temperament to her children. Her wonderful temperament has made her a great dog for Juniors to use at the dogs shows. She is a dog that I can take anywhere and do pretty much anything with. Jive is moderate, balanced and sound in body and mind. She is everything I'm looking for in my breeding program.

Ch NorlthWapiti's Freya WD, CGN (Iditarod veteran, Therapy Dog) "Freya"
Freya came from Karen Ramstead who runs her dogs in the 1,100 mile Iditarod race. Freya went up to Alaska with Karen in 2003 and was on her Ceremonial Start Iditarod team. She had completed several 200 and 300 hundred mile races with Karen. Freya was a life changing dog for me as far as my breeding program is concerned. She showed me what a true working girl could do in harness and in doing so changed my whole perspective on "beauty" in the Siberian. No longer was it about the pretty face but about that athletic body that could truly do the breed's original function in harness. In addition to fantastic structure, Freya had an incredible temperament which she passed onto her children including Jive. She produced a total of 6 puppies, 3 of which were champions including one Reserve Best In Show winner and two daughters teamed up together to win a Best Brace in Show. Four of her children have worked in harness, 3 of which have their Working Dog titles.

Can. BIS Am/Can Ch. Chimini's Living Like A Legend WD, CGN, CL1, AGNS, AGNJS, RA. (Therapy Dog) "Levi"
Levi was my first home-bred BIS winner. He was the #6 Siberian in Canada in 2004. I handled Levi to a couple Group placements but friend John Macdonald handled Levi to his Best In Show win. I also handled Levi to his obedience and agility titles. There are not many BIS Siberians that have as many titles as Levi does on both ends of his name. Levi was also a Saint John Ambulance Therapy Dog and he ran on our team for many years usually in swing position but could run in lead. What Levi might be best known for was the fact that he was my Freestyle Dancing partner for many years. Although we never competed in competition, we preformed are Tango routine at events. The seniors also loved watching him do his dance moves. He was an incredible intelligent dog and a very special friend..

BIS/AOM Am./Can. Ch. Kontoki's Wish Upon A Star WD, CGC (Therapy Dog) "Siri"
Siri was the beginning of my current breeding program. Prior to her I kept running into "roadblocks" whether it be health issues or just not producing what I was really looking for. Siri was my first Best In Show winner in Canada and the #6 Siberian in Canada in 1999. I handled Siri to her Best In Show and many of her Group placements. She was a US Award of Merit winner at the Yankee Specialty at 10 years of age. She was also a registered therapy dog and was my main lead in harness for many years. Although she was from pure show lines, she had beautiful refinement and a quiet determination about her that I really value both in the show ring and on the trail.
