Levi - Free Style Dancing

Levi loves to do the free style dancing. As with all the activities I do with my dogs, I use the clicker to train Levi his "dance moves". Some of his more complicated moves include mirroring my movements (ie. I take *one* step backwards, he takes *one* step backwards; I take one step to the side, he takes one step to the side; I turn in a circle, he turns, etc.) and turning his head sharply like the dancers do when dancing the tango. Levi can do these moves at a distance as well as right in front or beside me. What is remarkable about Levi is the intensity for which he does this work. If he were human, I'm sure he would be described as a perfectionist. :-)

In Levi's last years one of my favourite activities to do with him was to just turn on some music and dance with him in the house - just him and I. He could no longer do some of the fancy moves from his tango days but we could still do the waltz together with him mirroring my movements.
