Levi in Agility
I started doing agility with Levi when he was about a year old. It was a fun activity for us to do together but also great for helping him to built confidence. Levi loved doing agility and was normally very focus on me, something he learned from his dancing with me. In the beginning I had no intention of putting an agility title on him but eventually we got involved in CPE (Canine Performance Event) agility and then CKC agility when the CKC decided to start offering agility trails. Levi was my first, and to date, my only Siberian to obtain agility titles. At the beginning of a run handlers normally leave their dogs on a sit or down while the handlers moved out and got a head start on their dogs. However, in Levi's case, again from all the dance work I did with him, I would leave him on a stand stand. A photographer at a trail once captured a beautiful picture of Levi doing his stand stay and the start line. Love that picture of him.
CPE AgilityI found the CPE agility trails a lot of fun. Although people were competing, it was laid back, with everyone really supporting and congratulating everyone else. This was great for Levi and I as we would never be the fastest team on the course. Levi finished all the requirements for his Level 1 CPE title on Nov. 19th, 2006.

CKC AgilityCKC didn't start offering agility trails until Levi was almost 9 years old. Combine this with the fact that I had an Achilles injury and I wasn't sure we would obtain these titles. But again, with patience and a great physico therapist, Levi and I made it into CKC agility trails. On Oct 13th, 2007 Levi finished his requrements for his CKC Agility Novice and Jumpers titles under judges Carol Cote and Carolyn Dockrill.
